Gray Dies At Home Here. Mrs. Emma L. Gray, age 57, wife of W. O. Gray, died at the family home here last Friday, November 6th. Funeral services were held at the First Methodist church Saturday morning at 10 o'clock with Rev. W. S. Deatherage officiating. W. O. Gray was one of the first of our oil operators and sunk the first well in the Sayre field. The family is well and favorably known and a wide circle of friends mourn the passing of Mrs. Gray. Mrs. Gray was born in Missouri in 1865 and was married to W. O. Gray in 1885. To this union twelve children were born. Seven now living; George, Earnest, Dewey, Mary, Leta, Chestena, and Lilly Pearl. Mrs. Gray was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Elk City.
