GRIDER, J. H.
(4 Feb 1909, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
J. H. Grider of Berlin, one of the pioneer settlers of Western Oklahoma,
died last Wednesday of cancer on his heel.  The cancer began to effect his
nervous system and the aged gentleman soon passed away.  He went to a
South Carolina doctor some weeks ago to take treatment, but it did him no
good.
(4 Feb 1909, Thursday, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
J. H. Grieder (sic), of Berlin, passed away Thursday last.  Mr. Grieder
was one of the old settlers in that vicinity.  He had been ailing for some
time.
