HELTON, LATHA
(23 Jun 1930, Monday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Latha Henton (sic), wife of J. R. Henton, died at the family home 3
miles south of Sayre Wednesday morning June 18.
Mrs. Henton had been ill only a few days prior to her death.  She had
lived in this community for many years but they had just recently moved to
their present home.
Latha Walker was born in Warren county, Pennsylvania, on November 12,
1880.  August 20, 1900 She was married to J. R. Henton at Dekalb,
Tennessee, and to the union 6 children were born.
The surviving members of the family are Revada, Pryce, Tommy, J. B. and
Ann who all live at home and one married daughter who lives near Delhi, a
sister who lives west of Erick.
Mrs. Henton was a member of the Christian church many years.  Funeral
services were held at the Baptist Church at Delhi Thursday afternoon at 3
o'clock with Rev. Washburn officiating.  Interment was made in the Delhi
cemetery under the direction of Killough-Hullum Funeral home.

the illness and death of our dear wife and mother, Mrs. Tlitha Helton.  We
also wish to thank the neighbors for the beautiful flowers.
