L. Henning. She was born July 3rd, 1848, in Texas, but came to this state while young. She was married to A. L. Henning Dec. 28, 1875. To this union seven children were born, three sons and four daughters, all of whom lived to maturity. Two sons and two daughters survive, Mrs. Callie Siddle of Burkburnett and Mrs. Mattie Siglin of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Jim Henning of Cheyenne and T. H. Henning of Doxey, with whom she made her home at the old home place. She professed faith in Christ and joined the Presbyterian church early in life and lived a faithful and consistent christian until death July 9, 1920, when she fell asleep in Jesus. Knowing her life and devotion as I do I am assured of the fact that the world is better by reason of her life and her faith in Him who "doeth all things well." The funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. Williams and her body laid to rest in the Doxey cemetery to await the final resurrection day. The grace of God sustain and comfort the bereaved ones. A Friend.
