HILL, FRANKIE HELEN
(7 Mar 1907, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Died, Frankie Helen Hill, the sweet little girl baby of Mr. and Mrs.
William F. Hill of Mayfield, Okla., died at the home of her parents,
Wednesday evening, Feb., 27th 1907, at six o'clock.
She was born Nov. 11, 1905, being at her death, one year three months and
sixteen days old.  Funeral services were held at Mayfield church, Thursday
at three o'clock, by Rev. Montgomery of the Church of God.  Interment took
place immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
With the exception of Mrs. Hill, the entire family, consisting of the
above and three other children, have lately suffered a severe attack of
the measles, before this however, Helen had not been well for some time;
so the measles left her in a very low stage of sickness, which several
days later resulted in death.  With no favorable results friends and
relatives worked very hard for the recovery of the little child, who with
her sweet face, thoughtfulness and clever disposition, possessed that rare
quality of natural harmony, which attracts and holds all lovable fancy of
the emotional human heart.  This was demonstrated by the many tears that
were shed around the little grave on that gloomy day.
