All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ************************************************ HILL, MAGGIE CECIL (19 Jul 1928, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Maggie Cecil Albin was born in Jackson County, Kansas, on July 24, 1896, later coming to Oklahoma with her parents. Departed this life into "Eternity" on July 14, 1928 at St. Anthony's Hospital, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 31 years, 11 months and 2 days. In 1913 "Cecily" as she was familiarly known among her friends, which were many, was converted and united with the M. E. Church South at Sweetwater, Oklahoma, and lived a consecrated Christian life. On July 10, 1927 she was united in marriage to Mr. Luther E. Hill of Ponca City, Oklahoma, where they since made their home. To this union one daughter was born on May 27, named Bessie Mildred. Her body was brought back to the home of her parents, where the funeral services were held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. C. Perry McArthur after which the remains were conveyed to and laid to rest at the Mulberry cemetery followed by a large concourse of relatives and friends. Besides her husband, infant daughter, father, mother, sister and other relatives, she leaves a host of friends to mourn her loss.
