HUBBARD, WILLIE L.
(2 Nov 1916, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Death of Mrs. R. R. Hubbard.
On the evening of October 17th, 1916, at 8:00 o'clock the messenger of
death came to summon Mrs. Willie Lou Hubbard to her bright home in the
skies, but the summons brought darkness into the home and sorrow in the
hearts of her devoted husband and little daughters.
Sister Hubbard was born in Rusk county, Texas, August 31st, 1883; was
converted at the age of sixteen years and united with the Methodist
church.  She was married to Richard R. Hubbard at the age of twenty years.
 Three girls were born to this union.  She was buried at Lone Oak
Cemetery.  She leaves a husband, three daughters, a sister and brothers
and a host of friends.  She lived a sincere, devout Godly life, devoted to
the cause of the Lord, to her family and to her friends.  We loved her,
yes, we loved her; but the Savior loved her more and claimed her for his
own.  Weep not for her, loved ones, She is not dead, but asleep in the
arms of Jesus.
