(12 May 1914, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Death of Mrs. Hurley. Early last Saturday morning at her home on Railroad Hill, Mrs. T. J. Hurley succumed (sic) to an attack of appendicitis after a sickness of one week. Mr. and Mrs. Hurley have been residences of this city for several years, Mr. Hurley being an employee of the Rock Island railroad, and have a host of friends who sympathize with the bereaved family. Funeral services were held at the residence at 1:00 p.m. Sunday conducted by Rev. J. T. Means, the remains being interred in the Doxey cemetery.
