JACKSON, ELIZA JANE
(18 Jan 1912, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Eliza Jane Jackson, wife of Jess Jackson, one of the early settlers
of Roger Mills county, died at the home of her niece, Miss Anna Jackson,
in Sayre, Sunday night, January 7th, aged 57 years.  Mrs. Jackson had been
in poor health for some time and was here taking medical treatment.  The
remains were taken to Elk City for burial, accompanied by her husband, her
son, Newton Jackson, of Roswell, N.M., her sister, Mrs. Henry Herron, of
Albany, Tex., and her niece, Miss Anna Jackson of Sayre, and a large
number of intimate friends of the family.  The bereaved relatives of the
deceased have the heartfelt sympathy of their friends in their sorrow and
affliction.
