JORDAN, FEMALE
(30 Mar 1911, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
A Sudden Death.
Mrs. Jordan, living near Delhi, died suddenly of heart failure Tuesday
morning, March 20th.  the circumstances leading up to her death are
reported as follows:  Two little children were playing in the yard near a
pool of water, when one of them fell face downward in the water.  Mrs.
Jordan started to run toward the child to assist it, and had only covered
half the distance when she fell unconscious and death came a few minutes
afterward.  The deceased leaves a husband and five small children.  She
was a sister to Mr. C. H. Gurley, who lives on the Andrew Jackson farm
adjoining Delhi.
