(5 Jul 1928, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Mrs. F. L. Kindsfather died June 18 nineteen hundred and twenty eight at her home Southeast of Sayre, Oklahoma, at the age of sixty-five years, three months, eighteen days. She was born in Austria, Hungary and came to this country at the age of sixteen and at the age of 17 she was united in marriage to P. P. Kindsfather in the year of eighteen hundred seventy-nine and had she lived another year they would have finished a half a century of life together. They resided in Texas until about twelve years ago they moved to Sayre, where she resided until her death. Mrs. Kindsfather was a devoted christian and was loved by all who knew her. She joined the Methodist church at the age of seventeen and lived and died a true christian. There were eight children born to this union: Pete Kindsfather of Bellenne, Texas; Charlie Kindsfather of Pueblo, Colo.,; John Kindsfather of Walters, Oklahoma; Edd Kindsfather of Nacona, Texas; George Kindsfather, southeast of Sayre; Frank Kindsfather, southeast of Sayre; Mrs. Fannie Davis of Doxey; Mrs. Annie Davis of Sayre. Besides these she leaves twenty-eight grandchildren and eight great grand children, one niece, Mrs. Fannie McManus of Chattanooga, Okla., and a nephew, Jim Kelley of Chattanooga, Oklahoma.
