(5 Feb 1920, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
HERBERT S. LATTA DIES.
Well Known Young Railroad Man Succumbs to Pneumonia.
Herbert S. Latta, a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Latta, died at the home of
his parents in the west part of town last Saturday evening after an
illness of less than two days, having been taken sick on Friday morning. 
Mr. Latta, who was only twenty years of age, has for several years past
been employed in the round house at this place and made many friends who
will regret his untimely death.
At the time of going to press no definite arrangements for the funeral had
been made, interment having been postponed until the arrival of his
brother Charlie W., from Lyle, Washington.
