MARTIN, C. A.
(20 Dec 1923, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Had Been in Very Poor Health for Past Few Years.
C. A. Martin, a pioneer resident of this county, and well known to many of
our readers, died quiet suddenly on Thursday night last, although he had
been in very poor health for some time past.  Only a few weeks since he
went to Mineral Wells, Texas, expecting to spend the winter there, but the
change of climate did him no good, and he returned here.
Funeral services were held Friday forenoon, with interment at Sulphur
Springs, Texas.
Mr. Martin was a brother of E. L. Martin of this city, and G. E. Martin of
Elk City.
