MC GUIRE, CLARA
(11 May 1911, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
The little five-year-old daughter of W. Frank McGuire, formerly of Sayre,
died Monday after a short illness at their home, north of Sayre.
Clara, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. McGuire, died Monday, May
8.  She was in usual health up to 2 o'clock p.m., at which time she was
suddenly stricken with spasms.  She suffered intensely until death claimed
her at 8 o'clock Monday night.  Only a few persons knew of her illness. 
Dr. Wasson was called but arrived too late to relieve her suffering. 
Clara was a bright little girl, but was never very strong and had a
nervous temperament and could not bear much excitement.  She was born Jan.
23, 1906, and died May 8, 1911, hence was 5 years, 3 months and 15 days
old at the time of her death.
The funeral services were held at the Baptist church, conducted by C. A.
Brigess.  Interment was at Sanders (Buffalo) cemetery at 4 p.m.
(12 May 1911, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
A 5 year-old daughter of W. F. McGuire, our farmer townsman, now living on
Buffalo, was taken with convulsions Monday and died at 6 o'clock in the
evening.  The family has the sympathy of our people in their loss.
