MEDBERRY, FLORA
(25 Aug 1909, Wednesday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Flora Medberry, of Clinton, mother of Martin Medberry, died suddenly
at the home of her mother, Mrs. W. H. Slanson, in Kansas City, Friday
August 20.  Deceased had been in ill health several months and three weeks
prior to her death went to Kansas City in hope that her health would
improve.  Last Friday morning the date of her death, the husband received
a telegram stating that she was in a critical condition.  He wired Martin
and both started to Kansas City on the evening east bound train, but ere
they got out of Clinton death had claimed its victim.  Carl, the youngest
son, was the only member of the immediate family of the deceased present
when the end came.  Interment was made at Hutchinson, Kansas, Sunday,
August 22.
