MONTGOMERY, LOUISIANA
(1 Mar 1928, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Obituary.  Louisiana Hughes Montgomery was born August 18, 1857 in
Lampasas, Texas, and died February 21, 1928.  She was married to Joe
Calvin Montgomery in 1874.  To this union ten children were born, all of
whom are living except the youngest daughter.  She is survived by her
husband and children, a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Montgomery became a christian one year after her marriage and
remained faithful throughout her life.
A few years after their marriage they moved from Williamson county to
McCuller county, Texas.  A few years later they returned to Williamson
County, and later came to Oklahoma, in 1907 the family moved to their
present home, three miles southeast of Sayre, and it was there she died. 
She was laid to rest on February 21 in the Lone Oak Cemetery.
