MORRIS, ALBERT M.
(25 Jul 1929, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Resident of Sayre Succombs (sic) Tuesday
Albert M. Morris died at his home at 44 N Seventh street in Sayre Tuesday
a.m. at 8 o'clock and funeral services were held from the Baptist church
at Port at 4 o'clock that afternoon with Rev. Hollis officiating.  Burial
was in Port cemetery (Washita county).
Morris is survived by his wife Liza Morris and three daughters and one son
all at home, they are Cyntha, Ethel, Lillie and Frank.  He is also
survived by eight other children of his first marriage, they are: G. M.
Morris of Verden, Mrs. Andrew L. Willis of Sayre, Newton Morris of
Oklahoma City, Mrs. L. R. Stubblefield of Dill, J. R. Morris of Dill, C.
E. Morris of Chickasha, W. E. Morris, Canute, and Mrs. Lewis Rohlfing,
Sayre.
He has been an ordained minister of the Baptist church for many years and
active in community life.  Hullum funeral directors were in charge.
