MORRISON, LEW
(6 Oct 1909, Friday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Lew Morrison, formerly a resident of Sayre, and well known to many of our
citizens died at Salida, Colorado, Tuesday, September 28, 1909.  His body
was taken to Yukon for interment.
(7 Oct 1909, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Lou Morrison, a former citizen of this city, died of paralysis at Salida,
Colorado, and was buried at Yukon, Oklahoma, last Sunday.  Virgil Barnes,
also a former Sayre boy, accompanied the remains from Salida to Yukon and
on the return trip stopped off in this city a few hours to exchange
greetings with old time friends.
