MOULTON, JOHN LESTER
(The Sayre Journal, Sayre, Beckham Co, Ok, 9 December 1926)
John Lester Moulton died at the Mayo Brothers hospital at Rochester,
Minnesota, Wednesday, December 1, and the body shipped back here for
interment.  For a period of years the family has lived in Sayre and prior
to his death Mr. Moulton was employed at the City Meat Market.
He had been ill some time and resigned his pace at the market last summer
to go to Colorado in the interest of his health and upon his return was
later taken to Rochester.
Funeral services were conducted at the Christian church by Rev. T. Weeks,
Sunday, December 5th, and interment was made in the Sayre-Doxey cemetery. 
Rev. Deatherage was engaged for the funeral services, but owing to car
trouble was delayed on his way here from Frederick.
Rev. Deatherage and Plemons drove over from Frederick to be in attendance
at the funeral of John Lester Moulton which were held in the Christian
Church Sunday afternoon.  Brother Deatherage was to have preached the
funeral services, but as he was delayed, Brother Weeks of the Methodist
officiated.  Plemons Deatherage rendered two lovely solos.
