(1 Jan 1931, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): HEREFORD MAN BURIED HERE John B. Neatherly, who died at his home in Hereford, Texas, Saturday, was buried at the Sanders cemetery near here at 3 P.M., Sunday evening. Neatherly leaves a wife and four daughters, Mrs. May Godfrey, of Sayre; Mrs. Jessie Vernon, Mrs. Pearl Murphy and Mrs. Ella Thompson, and two sons, John and Daniel Neatherly. Rev. Coffy (sic) officiated at the service with Littrell-Moore in charge. (8 Jan 1931, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): J. B. NEATHERLY J. B. Neatherly was born at Clarksville, Va., on September 28, 1856, and died at Hereford, Texas, December 27, 1930, at the age of 74 years. He was converted and joined the Methodist church at Easter, Va., at the age of 50 years. He was married to Miss Mary A. Breedings, at Alamo, Tennessee, June 12, 1884. To them were born nine children. Six are still living. They are Mrs. May Godfrey, Sayre; John B. Neatherly, Hereford, Texas; Mrs. Ella Thompson, Sayre; Mrs. Jessie Vernon, Sayre; Mrs. Pearl Murphy, Oklahoma City and Daniel Nethery (sic) of Hereford. He was buried at Brookside cemetery (Roger Mills County) with Rev.
