(16 Jan 1930, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
LAST RITES HELD FOR MRS. SARAH OWENS
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah E. Owen (sic), age 88 years eight months 
and ten days, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. N. W. Watts 
401 North Seventh street, January 4, were held at 3 o'clock on Monday 
afternoon, January 6, in the Church of Christ in Sayre.  Rev. C. B. Carmen 
of Elk City, officiated the services.   Interment was made in the Sayre-Doxey 
cemetery under the direction of Littrell-Moore funeral home attendants.
The deceased is survived by her one daughter, Mrs. N. W. Watts of Sayre, 
one son, Walter Owens of Fullerton, California, 19 grandchildren and 
18 great grand children.
