PASCHAL, VIOLA MARGARET
(12 Mar 1914, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Warren of Hemphill county, Texas, and E. R. Paschal of
Oklahoma City, were in Sayre this week, called here by the death of Miss
Viola Paschal.
Viola Margaret Paschal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Paschal, died at
her home in this city Tuesday, March 10, after an illness of only four
days.  Funeral services were held at the Baptist church at 3:00 o'clock
Wednesday afternoon, and the remains were laid at rest in the Doxey
cemetery.
Miss Viola Margaret Paschal was born at Columbus, Nebraska, November 8th,
1891.  Some thirteen years ago the family moved to Oklahoma residing for a
time near Cheyenne and coming to Sayre about three years ago.  She
attended school at Cheyenne, Elk City and Weatherford.  She taught school
for two sessions in the country, and this was her third term in the Sayre
schools.
Death found her at her post as she lost only two days from her work,
having taught last Friday.  On Saturday she became very ill, and at 1:20
Tuesday afternoon the great Teacher called her to himself.  She was
twenty-two years, four months and two days old.  In the very morning of
what gave promise of being a golden day, she was called to lay down her
work and come up higher.
