POARCH, WILLIAM DAVIS
(24 Mar 1927, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
In Memoriam.
William Davis Poarch was born in Marshall county, Tennessee, April 29,
1864, and died at his home in Sayre, Oklahoma, March 23, 1927.  He was the
son of Charles T. and Amanda Poarch.
He professed Christianity at an early age and joined the Methodist church,
always having faith in life everlasting.  He devoted his life in helping
someone in need.  He was a kind father and faithful husband.  He leaves a
loving wife, six children and ten grand children, three brothers and a
sister and many friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church, by Rev. T. N. Weeks.
Interment was made in the Poarch cemetery.
