PURYEAR, MARY A.
(7 May 1914, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Grimes Notes:
Our community was saddened Saturday by the death of our dear friend and
neighbor, Mrs. Mary A. Puryear.  Grandma Puryear has been an invalid for
several years.  While visiting her daughter, Mrs. Polly Wood, the death
angel knocked at the door and carried her away.  She was 69 years, 8
months and 7 days old.
Grandma was loved by all who knew her.  She was a kind and dear friend. 
She was laid to rest in the Berlin cemetery by the side of her husband who
had gone before.
The Grimes community extend heartfelt sympathy to the bereft ones.  May
God comfort them in their sorrow.
