All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ************************************************ QUISENBERRY, MADISON (10 Mar 1921, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Madison Quisenbury (sic), an old resident of Prentiss section, dropped dead while at work in the field on his farm, on Saturday forenoon last. Deceased was a pioneer resident of that section, well known and highly esteemed. Madison Quisenbury was born near Lexington, Kentucky, Oct., 27, 1854; died of heart failure March 5th, 1921, being at time of his death 67 years, 4 months, 6 days old. He leaves to mourn the loss of his wife, adopted daughter, a brother, Colby, of Florida, a sister, Belle Karr, of near Lexington, Kentucky, other relatives and many friends. One sister and his brother Dudley, of Sayre, preceded him some four years ago. In his early life he became a Christian and has lived a faithful life until called home. On Sept. 7th, 1907, he was married to Miss Emma Virginia Flemmings, of Shelbyville, Illinois. Mr. Quisenbury was held in high esteem in the community in which he lived so many years and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The funeral services were conducted by Rev.
