RAMSEY, WILLIS
(27 May 1904, Friday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
In Remembrance
Of our friend Mr. Ramsey, who died Sunday, May 22.  He came here from
Texas a short time ago to visit his son, and a few days ago was taken with
lagrippe, which caused his death.  He was an affectionate husband and a
loving father, and his death cast a gloom over our community; but God
knows best and his will must be done.
(2 Jun 1904, Erick Newspaper, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED.  Wm. Ramzy of Tulia, Texas, May 22, aged 79 years, of a complication
of diseases.  Mr. Ramzy was visiting his son, J. N. Ramzy, who lives near
Meridian Lake, and died at his son's home.  The remains were interred in
the G. L. Black cemetery (Mulberry Cemetery, Roger Mills County).
Mr. Ramzy embraced religion at an early age and lived a consistent
christian to the last.  His relatives and friends have the heartfelt
sympathy of the entire community.
