All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ************************************************ REEVES, IRA (30 Sep 1926, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): IRA REAVES DIED ON SATURDAY Funeral Services Conducted by Rev. Deatherage on Monday. Ira Reaves (sic), a well known farmer of the Murphy Gin section, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Alf Reaves, died on Saturday afternoon last. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. S. Deatherage on Monday, from the home, with interment at Lone Oak cemetery. Mr. Reaves was a young man, but 28 years of age, and had been sick only a short time, being from infected tonsils poisoning his system. He leaves a wife and his parents. The family have the sincere sympathy of a large circle of friends in sympathy of bereavement. (7 Oct 1926, Sayre Journal, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): IRA REEVES Son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Reeves, was born in Wise County, Texas, May 16th, 1899, was married to Miss Pearl Poarch, February 28, 1926. Died Sept. 25th, 1926. Besides his wife he leaves a father, mother and five sisters, Mrs. Alice Roberts, Mrs. Clyde Gray, Mrs. Willard Williams and the Misses Dema and Elmaree Reeves. Also, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Poarch and family and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his departure. The funeral services was conducted by Rev. W. S.
