REYBURN, WARY LOUIS
(Sayre Daily Headlight Journal, Sayre, Beckham, Ok, Mon 22 Mar 1943)
Wary Louis Reyburn was born March 14, 1865 at Columbia, Mo., and died
March 13, 1943 at his home at 805 North Sixth Street at Sayre, Oklahoma,
one day less than 78 years of age.
He was united in marriage to Miss Grace Belle Hammon, October 16, 1897 at
Burleson, Texas.
He moved to Oklahoma in December 1898 and lived nine years near Elk City,
moving to the Prairie View community in 1907 where they lived for 34
years.  He made his home in Sayre since December 1941. He was converted at
the age of 16 and in 1913 he united with the Prairie View Baptist church
of which he was a member at the time of his death.
To this union fourteen children were born. Three of whom preceded him in
death.  Surviving him are his wife Mrs W L Reyburn and six daughters, Mrs
George T Broddrick of Merced, Calif; Mrs Carl Williams of Sayre; Mrs Ross
Smith of Sayre; Mrs Gene Carlisle of Wichita, Kansas; Mrs Lewis E Copp of
Blackstone; sons are Wade L Reyburn of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; Earl H.
Reyburn of Elk City Okla; Joe C Reyburn of Walla Walla, Wash.; PFC Wary H.
Reyburn serving in the U S Marines in Southwestern Pacific area and Pvt
Dawes H Reyburn, training in the air corps in Sioux Falls, SD.  Two sons
by a former marriage John A Reyburn and Pete R Reyburn of San Bernardino,
Calif.  Thirty-two grandchildren, one brother Barry W Reyburn of Schell
City, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held March 14 at Prairie View Baptist Church with
Rev S. L. Isaacs officiating. Interment in Sayre-Doxey Cemetery with the
Littrell-Scroggins Funeral Home in charge."
