ROBISON, SARAH FRANCIS
(14 Jun 1928, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
SARAH FRANCIS ROBINSON (sic)
Mrs. Sarah Robinson (nee White) was born in Rutherford County, Tenn.,
November 23rd, 1844, and died at the home of her son Jesse Robinson, near
Delhi, Beckham County, Oklahoma, June 10th, 1928, aged 83 years, 6 months
and 18 days.
She was converted and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church South at
the tender age of fourteen years and has lived a consistent christian in
that community nearly seventy years.
After living at various times in Kentucky and Texas she with her husband
Newton J. Robinson and family moved to Oklahoma in 1908.  During all these
years she has proven herself a delightful neighbor, faithful wife, tender
mother and friend to do that is good and noble.  Many children and
grandchildren servive (sic).  One sister and a host of other relatives
attended the funeral services at Delhi, Oklahoma, from the church where
she has held her membership many years, one of the largest attended
funerals this writer has witnessed in many years.
A life like hers - past the four score mark - all filled with loving
service and vital faith only reaches its earthly climax in the triumph
passing up to the city where cometh no night.  God is glorified in such
living and such dying - thank God our people still die well.  Dear sons
and daughters and loved ones of Mother Robinson (sic) you are not in
doubt.  You know where to find her.  She awaits your coming in the sweet
