ROHLFING, WILLIAM W.
(10 Sep 1925, Sayre Journal, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
William W. Rohlfing, age 69 years, eleven months and five days, died
August 30th at the family home at Port.  Rohfling was a native of Germany,
he came to America in 1865 and located at Winterrowd, Illinois, at which
place he married Miss Caroline Cristena Gneber in 1883, to this union six
children were born and are all living.
In 1903 Rohlfing and family came to Oklahoma.
He was a member of the Evangelist church of Bible Grove, Illinois, having
been converted at the age of fifteen.  Rev. Reel of Doxey preached the
funeral services at the Port Baptist Church and interment was made in the
Port Cemetery (Washita County).
