SHEETS, NANCY L.
(15 Feb 1923, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Obituary.
Mrs. Nancy L. Sheets, was born in Ash County, North Carolina, April 29th,
1852.  Her parents moved to Virginia when she was five years old.  She
grew up in Lee County, Virginia, professed religion when she was fourteen
years old, and joined the Methodist church, living a devoted Christian the
remainder of her life.
She was married to W. J. Sheets March 13th, 1879, at Jonesville, Virginia.
 To this union were born eight children; two boys and six girls.  Three of
the children have preceeded her to the better world.  One girl died in
infancy, two daughters died in womanhood.  Sister Sheets departed this
life, February 7th, at 2:15 a.m.  Age 71 years 10 mo. 13 days.
There are left to mourn her husband, W. J. Sheets, her two sons and three
daughters.  She leaves sixteen grand children and one great grand child. 
Earth held no charms for her neither did death have any fears for her. 
The day before she died she told her husband that she was waiting for the
call and was ready to go.
