SHIREY, BETTIE MAE
(26 Jun 1924, Sayre Journal, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Charley R. Shirey left this city last week for Clinton with her
little daughter, Bettie Mae, age 5 years old, to be operated for
appendicitis.  The child died on Friday last before the operation.  The
people of Sayre join with the Journal in extending sympathy to Mr. and
Mrs. Shirey in this their sad hour.
