All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ************************************************ SIDES, HERSHAL GENE (13 Nov 1930, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Hershal Gene Sides, 3 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Sides, died at the family home 2 miles northwest of Sayre Wednesday morning. Hershal had been ill for nine days with pneumonia. He died at 6 o'clock Wednesday morning, November 12, 1930. Funeral services will be held at the Buffalo Church Thursday evening November 13, at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Buffalo cemetery. Littrell-Moore funeral directors were in charge of the arrangements. (16 Nov 1930, Sunday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): OBITUARY Hershel (sic) Gene Sides, 3 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Sides died at the family home 2 miles north west of Sayre Wednesday morning, of pneumonia. He had only been sick nine days. He died at 6 o'clock November 12, 1930. Funeral services were held at the Buffalo Baptist Church November 13, at 2 o'clock. Interment was made in the Buffalo cemetery. He leaves to mourn his going, a mother and father, three brothers, two grandfathers, one grandmother, uncle and aunts and other relatives. CARD OF THANKS We wish to take this opportunity of thanking our many friends and neighbors for their many deeds of kindness during our recent bereavement in the death of our darling little Gene, also the Buffalo Church people who so kindly gave us the use of their house to hold the funeral and to their singers, to Rev. Daniels for his comforting words and to the two little boys of Sayre who brought the little message of love to us from Cliftons and Lowels teachers and school mates and to Littrell-Moore funeral directors.
