SMITH, J. P.
(22 Dec 1911, Friday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Monday morning Dec. 18th J. P. Smith of this city peacefully passed to
rest after a lingering illness of a month or more.  His age was 68 years
and he leaves, besides his son C.V. who is a well known employee of the
Rock Island as manager of the freight department, two sisters in Illinois.
 Chas. accompanied the body to Ipava, Ill., Tuesday, where interment will
take place.
Mr. Smith was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America of 26 years standing.
