STACKER, GOTLEIB
(6 Jan 1921, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Gotleib Stacker, Aged 83, Died Saturday at Farm near Grimes.
Gotleib Stacker, one of the pioneer residents of the section northeast of
Grimes, died of old age on Saturday afternoon last.  Mr. Stacker was born
in Wurtemburg, Germany, October 12, 1837, and was 83 years of age at the
time of his death.
He came to the United States in 1881, and settled in Ohio, where he
remained until 1900, when he came to Roger Mills county, where he resided
until his death.  About 22 years of age he joined the German Lutheran
church and about 12 years ago united with the Evangelical association at
Sweetwater.  Funeral services were held from his late residence on Sunday
afternoon, with interment at the Berlin cemetery (Roger Mills County),
where his two daughters and a little grandchild are also buried.
His only surviving relative is Jacob Stacker, who resides on the farm
northeast of Grimes.
