STAPLES, NANCY
(28 Jul 1921, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. T. R. Staples, who has been ill for some months past, died at her
home in this city on Friday afternoon last, aged 66 years.  Funeral
services were held at the Lone Oak church on Saturday afternoon, with Rev.
Z. E. Twitty officiating, and were very largely attended by old neighbors
and friends from the section northwest of this city, where Mrs. Staples
resided for many years.
Mrs. Staples was born in Alabama in 1855, married in 1875, and came to
Oklahoma in 1903, settling on the farm northwest of this city, where she
lived until a little more than a year ago.  She leaves a husband and five
children to mourn the loss of a kind and considerate mother.
The sympathy of a large circle of friends and neighbors goes to the
bereaved family.  (Buried Lone Oak Cemetery.)
