TENNERY, SAMMY
(7 May 1914, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
This community is in morning (sic) and sympathy with Mr. and Mrs. Sam
Tennery whose little son, Sammy, aged nine years, died at 2 o'clock May
5th, of appendicitis.  There have been several adults die and several
infants, but this is the first child of school age to die in this
community.  Our hearts are sad and our lips are silent as there seems to
be no words that we can say that will lighten the sorrow of the bereaved
parents.   (Buried Pioneer-Hext Cemetery).
