(30 Sep 1926, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
A. A. TERRY DIED TUESDAY
Remains Taken to His Old Home in Missouri for Burial.
A. A. Terry, whose illness has been previously mentioned in weeks past,
died Tuesday morning at the age of 76.  The remains were taken that
afternoon to Jamesport, Missouri, his old home, for burial, being
accompanied by Mrs. Terry, and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jas. Terry, of
Jamesport, who has been here for some time past assisting in caring for
Mr. Terry.
Mr. Terry was a pioneer resident of the Prentiss section, having
homesteaded a farm there on which he lived until a few years since, when
failing health compelled him to cease active work and the family moved to
this city.
Mr. Terry was widely known and very highly respected .  The large list of
personal friends extend their sympathy to the bereaved family.
