TINDELL, ALICE DORSEY
(Sayre Sun, Sayre Beckham County, Ok,  Thurs 26 Sep 1963)
Mrs. Tindell Rites Held on Monday.
Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Dorsey Tindell, 213 North Third Street,
who died Saturday at the Sayre hospital, following an extended illness,
were held Monday at 1:30 pm in the First Christian church with Rev. Frank
Scofield officiating.
Born October 23 1900 at Montague, Texas, Mrs. Tindell has been a resident
of Beckham County a number of years.  She was married to E. I. Tindell in
1946 at Sayre.  She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband of the home address; two step daughters,
Mrs. Mary T. Jones, Sayre, Mrs. Frank Silcott, Pampa, Texas; seven step
grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret
Simmons, Luciene; Mrs. Lottie Jackson, Anadarko; Mrs. Fannie Coon, Binger;
three brothers, Williard Dorsey, Anadarko; Leonard Dorsey, Oklahoma City;
Bob Dorsey, Binger.
She was preceded by her parents and one brother.
Pall bearers were Earl Dorsey, C. C. Morrison, Harvey Breeze, Orville
Renfro, Wes Cain, Lee Tindell. Committal was in the Carter cemetery with
the Moore Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
