Mrs. Ethel Alton Tindell, 1110 North Broadway, Sayre, died January 16 at her home. Funeral services will be held Monday January 18, at 2:30 pm in the Freewill Baptist church, Sayre, with Rev Ed Abbott and Rev J. L. VanWinkle officiating. Born December 2, 1898, in Texas, Mrs. Tindell moved from Texas to Western Oklahoma in 1923 and lived in this area ever since. She married S. F. Tindell at Sayre in 1927. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist church. Survivors are eight daughters, Mrs. Altie Hohenshelt, Elk City, Mrs. Ozelle Reed, Willard, Mo., Mrs. Annie Lue Aaron, Oklahoma City, Blanche Dishman, Sayre, Mrs. Mary Bridges, Dinuba, Calif., Mrs. Louise Allen, Moscow, Kansas; Wanda Mayo and Lola Smart, both of Sayre; three sons: Lee Tindell, Carter; Virgil Wilson, Springdale, Arkansas; Joe Wilson, New Iberia, La.; 29 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Delpha B. Pruitt, Richardson, Texas; four brothers: Cecil Bigham, Orville Bigham, Finnis Bigham, San Diego, Calif., Otis Bigham, Oklahoma City. Interment will be in the Carter cemetery with Moore Funeral Home in charge.
