(16 Feb 1922, Thursday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Former Sayre Attorney Passed Away at Bristow, Oklahoma. Word reached us last week of the death of Judge W. E. Tomme, on Wednesday night last, after a few hours illness of acute indigestion. Judge Tomme was for a number of years a resident of this county, and six years ago the coming fall was elected county attorney. After serving one year in that position he resigned and moved to Pitcher, Oklahoma, to engage in the law and real estate business. About a year ago he moved to Bristow. Judge Tomme was widely known in this section of Oklahoma, and while rather inclined to the eccentric in character, still was universally honored and respected for his sterling honesty.
