(22 Oct 1914, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Mrs. Virginia Trimble, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Andrews, died at the home of her parents Thursday, October 15th, after a prolonged illness from typhoid fever. The funeral services, held from the Baptist church last Friday, was largely attended, the business houses of the city closing between the hours of 2 and 3 o'clock out of respect to the deceased. The services at the church were conducted by Rev. J. E. Gwatkin, pastor of the Baptist church; Rev. W. L. Anderson, pastor of the Methodist church, and Rev. J. T. Means, pastor of the Presbyterian church. The floral offerings were numerous, attesting the high esteem and love in which Mrs. Trimble was held by her host of friends in this city. The deceased leaves two little sons, aged eight and ten years. The bereaved relatives of the deceased have the sincere sympathy of this community in their sorrow and affliction.
