TRUBY, JOSEPH
(25 Dec 1924, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Passed Away Saturday Night at the El Reno Hospital.
Joseph, little nine-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Turby, of this
city, died Saturday night at the hospital in El Reno.  The remains were
brought to this city on Monday and funeral services were held at the
Christian church, with Rev. Deatherage and Rev. Means officiating.
Interment was in the Doxey-Sayre cemetery.  The funeral services were very
largely attended by the many friends of the family, and the floral
offerings were especially beautiful.
Little Joseph had been in poor health for some months and about two months
ago was taken to the Mayo Institute at Rochester, Minnesota, coming from
there to the hospital at El Reno, but physicians were unable to solve his
troubles, and death came to his relief as mentioned.
The many friends of the family extend their heartfelt sympathy to the
bereaved parents.
