(20 Feb 1913, Thursday, Sayre Standard, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Pioneer
Sunday School News:
C. M. Turel, born March 28, 1836; died February 1913.  Seven children
survive him.
The Pioneer Sunday School, of which he was a member for the last seven
years, contributing to its success by constant attendance, and as a member
of the Bible class, answering questions and contributing liberally to its
support, join in expressions of sorrow that he has been taken from among
us.  His favorite song was "Treasures in the City of God."  Unconscious to
himself he has written the story of his life upon the hearts of the
people of this neighborhood.  (Buried Pioneer Cemetery, Beckham County,
Okla.)
