Unger, was born in Germany July 28, 1855, but came from Germany when he was a child. He was converted at George Town, Texas, about the year 1876. He was married to Matilda E. Cox, Jan. 10, 1878, at Georgetown, Texas. To this union six children were born, Fanny Forthia, the elder, died in infancy. The five surviving children are, Mrs. Theadore (sic) Tharp of Yukon, Oklahoma, Charlie L. Unger, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Alva Reed, Doxey, Oklahoma, Mrs. Ishmeal Wood, Rankin, Oklahoma, Henry Unger, Sweetwater, Oklahoma. He always lived a good true Christian life. He passed away October 1, 1926. He was 72 years 2 months and 2 days old. He is also survived by eight grand children, 3 boys and 2 girls of Mrs. Thedore Tharp and two boys of Mrs. Ishmeal Woods. Funeral was conducted by John M.
