WALKER, VERA
(8 Nov 1923, Thursday, Sayre Star, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Vera, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Walker, passed away at
the home of relatives in Elk City last Sunday and was laid to rest at that
place.  She had been taken to Elk City in order that she might have better
medical care.  Lera, the little twin sister, was also quite sick, but is
all right now.  The family have the sympathy of the entire community in
their loss.

Mrs. H. B. Walker has been in Elk City helping care for her baby who is
still seriously sick.  Mrs. Walker has also been there for several days. 
Mrs. Dora Walker is caring for the other little twin granddaughter who is
doing fine.
Later - The little baby died Sunday afternoon.
Obituary.  Vera, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Walker, died in
Elk City Sunday, November 4th, 1923.  She was born June 15th, 1923, and
was one of their twin daughters.
Funeral services were held from the home of Cyrus Cooper in Elk City,
Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Bigabee.  Mr. Rice had charge of the
singing.  A number of friends attended.  The interment was made in the
Fairlawn cemetery.
The parents have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
