Mote Barnard Graveside services for Gwendolyn B. Mote Webb, former resident of Erick, will be held Friday, February 9, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the Erick Cemetery. Mrs. Webb, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2002 in Cleveland, TN healthcare facility. She has lived in Oklahoma most of her life and had resided in Tennessee for the past six years. Before her retirement, she was a home economics teacher with the Lookeba Oklahoma School System. She was the anonymous writer of the "Old Timer" in the Beckham County Democrat newspaper in the 1960's and 1970's. Mrs. Webb was of the Primitive Baptists faith F. Mote of Cleveland and N. Gwili Beckloff of Marietta, GA; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one brother, Laverne Barnard of Sebastopol, GA. The Sayre Record and Beckham County Democrat 6-Feb-2002
