WOODRUFF, HENRY HINES
(25 Aug 1930, Monday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Funeral services were held for Henry Hines Woodruff, 28, of near Sayre at
the Lone Oak Church Wednesday afternoon, August 20 at 5 o'clock with Rev.
McGaughy of Elk City officiating.
Henry Hines Woodruff was born at Center Point, Arkansas, May 11, 1902 and
died August 19, 1930, at the age of 28 years, 3 months and 8 days.  Death
was the result of an appendicitis operation.  He died in a local hospital.
Woodruff spent most of his life in Arkansas.  He moved to Chickasha about
3 years ago and then to the home near Murphys Gin.  He was married to
Thelma Daniels at Center Point in 1922 and to the union 3 children were
born.  Two have preceded their father in death.
Besides his wife, Woodruff is survived by his son, Wilson Wayne, his
father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Woodruff of Center Point, Arkansas,
three sisters, Mrs. Marion Womack of Apache; Mrs. Lee Goodson and Miss
Minnie Woodruff of Center Point, Arkansas, seven brothers, Rex Woodruff,
Nashville, Tenn.; Joe Woodruff of Quintaqua, Texas; Garett Woodruff of 
Sayre; Walter Woodruff of Texarkana, Arkansas and Ace, Charles and Luther
Woodruff all of Center Point, Arkansas.
Interment was made in the Lone Oak Cemetery under the direction of
Killough-Hullum funeral home.
