WRIGHT, LEE M.
(16 Jun 1930, Monday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Funeral Was Held At Lone Oak Baptist Church Saturday Afternoon.
Lee M. Wright, 63, died June 13, 1930 at the family home 2 miles west of
Strong City after an illness of only a few days.  Wright was a resident of
this county for a number of years.  In recent years he moved with his
family to the farm home west of Strong City (Roger Mills County).
Wright was born July 27, 1866.  He is survived by his wife, Francis
Wright, two children, David at home and Mrs. Wm. Chappell who lives on a
farm near the family home, two brothers, Charles and J. A. Wright both of
Sayre, 4 sisters, Mrs. Emma Sandefer of Stoneberg, Texas, Mrs. Josie
Wilson, of Stoneberg, Texas, Mrs. Sally Murphy, of Sayre, and Mrs. Katie
Anderson of Oklahoma City, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Lone Oak Baptist church, Saturday
afternoon at 3 o'clock.  Rev. Moad of Elk City officiated.  Burial was
made in the Lone Oak cemetery under the direction of Killough-Hullum
funeral home.
