YORK, OTHA LINE
(12 Sep 1929, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK):
Diphtheria Attack Proves Fatal To 12 Year Old Youth.
Other (sic) York, 12 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. York, died at his
home near Murphy's Gin Sunday morning at 3 o'clock.  Death was due to
diphtheria.
Funeral services were held at the Pioneer cemetery at Hext Switch Tuesday
p.m. at 1 o'clock.  Rev. J. H. Burns pastor of the First Baptist church
was in charge of the funeral services.

Other (sic) Line York, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. York, was born July 18,
1917, and died Sept. 8, 1929, age 12 years, 1 mo. 21 days.
He died at his home near Sweetwater.
He leaves to mourn his going his father and mother and six brothers.

Durham, Okla., Ernest York, Andy York, Claud York of Sweetwater, Okla.,
three sisters, Mrs. W. F. Sides and Mrs. J. E. Harlson of Sayre, Okla.,
Mrs. Bill Roper of Dalhart, Texas, and many friends and other relatives.
